I’m going to call this young man, Ivo. That is my ex-husband’s name and I think this looks just like him. Although I never knew Ivo to wear a linen tunic in an ethnic Russian or Ukrainian style, he certainly might have when I wasn’t looking.

The Ukrainian artist, Vyacheslav Lavrinenko, has created many layers of light and shadow upon this young man’s face. His heavily lidded eyes framed with dark, strong brows make this portrait worthy of a good long stare. Vintage 1970’s.
