Uzbek Silk Embroidered Chapan

CA$155.00

The major cities in Uzbekistan of Samarkand and Bukhara were stops along the Silk Road in Central Asia and thus influenced the historical design of this traditional Uzbek silk & embroidered Chapan (overcoat), from the 1980's. You could wear this robe while lounging at home or out for a fancy dress evening! I’ve also noted them displayed on a wall as an art piece or historical artifact. The glorious colours would add so much to either situation.

Excellent, in never worn condition.

Measures top to bottom 46'', chest circumference 49'', sleeve to sleeve 59''
